About

Some folks learned Excel by taking a class in school. Steven learned Excel by cutting class and starting his own business selling chocolate bars out of his locker only to track all of the sales in a spreadsheet. Which type of candy was sold at what time of day and to whom? He could answer all that and more having taught himself good bookkeeping skills, all while building pivot tables. Afterall, something in the 1999/2000 zeitgeist declared, Excel would be required by all those “good jobs” school was preparing students for in the first place. He just took a head start.

Over the course of 20 years, having tutored Excel to 100’s of students, provided tech consulting for dozens of companies and government agencies, organized three ongoing professional meetup groups, and teaching two ongoing college courses on business intelligence, Steven has diligently tracked Excel’s evolution in every corner of the marketplace. His unyielding peripatetic experience gives him competitive insights. He brings an in-depth technical savviness accompanied by the patience to understand perspectives of those who must administer un-thanked day-to-day tasks.

With this, Steven is well prepared to provide management consulting advice that will make your team excel.
